
Wallmans Lawyers have moved to Level 5, 400 King William St, Adelaide (corner of Gilles St).
Located in the vibrant southern precinct, the $100m building developed by local developer, the Kyren Group, provides 21,500sqm of office accommodation over 10 levels. A multi deck car park, offering more than 500 car park spaces is in operation, to the rear of the building.
The move has been prompted by the firm's considerable growth over the past 4 years, which has resulted in a 60% increase in staff. Our client base has further diversified and grown, requiring a greater need for meeting areas, seminar and advanced training facilities on site.
In choosing the firm's new location, Wallmans were mindful of issues of access and convenience. 'When we moved to Wakefield Street in the mid 1970s it was considered unusual because we were defying convention that major legal practices needed to be located within the city’s commercial centre, which in those days stretched about 500m from the Town Hall,” said Wallmans' General Manager, Catherine Schultz. “Now we’re doing it again with our move to 400 King William Street,” she said. “We want to retain the level of convenience for our clients and staff and decentralise from the city’s busy legal hub."
