Chris has been a partner since 1986 and a member of the firm’s managing executive since the early 1990s. He is a highly experienced litigator and specialises in dispute resolution, particularly in the areas of business disputes, public liability, professional negligence and insurance claims. His practice also includes commercial contracts, general business advice and corporate governance.

Chris provides strategic advice to local government and major commercial and not-for-profit organisations on a wide variety of legal and business issues. His industry experience also includes professional services, manufacturing, building, education and transport. He has successfully represented a national transport operator in multi-million dollar asset damages claims and a regional council in recovery claims against ETSA following a 1991 bushfire.

In addition to being admitted to practice in SA, NSW and the Federal and High Courts of Australia, Chris is also Commissioner for Taking Affidavits in the Supreme Court of SA. He is an accredited mediator and acts for both private and institutional clients in relation to mediation, conciliation and all other forms of alternate dispute resolution (ADR).
