David is one of South Australia's most experienced commercial lawyers, dealing with business acquisitions, joint ventures, franchising, partnership disputes, commercial restructuring, and commercial tenancy issues.

He acts for a range of institutions, private businesses (retail, wholesale, manufacturing and distributing), landlords, hoteliers, wine and grape producers, farmers and property owners, as well as major accounting, architectural, medical, dental, engineering and other professional practices.

David has been involved in major due diligence projects for clients including investigating a major franchise group and the review of a multi million dollar operation for a major international client.

He has extensive experience in advising clients in corporate governance issues under the Corporations Act including duties and obligations.

David has provided strategic business advice to clients on business structures and restructures and has a vast amount of experience in this area.

David also works for a large number of individuals including many prominent South Australian families. He has extensive experience and knowledge in succession planning through to wills and estates, as well as superannuation and capital taxes (particularly capital gains tax and stamp duty).
