Peter commenced his practising life at Wallmans Lawyers in 1976. He has been a partner since 1982 and is presently Chairman of Partners.

In his 33 year career, Peter has practised in most areas of the law.

For the last 20 years, Peter has specialised in Hospitality, Liquor Licensing, Gambling, Local Government, Environment, Resources and Development Law.

Peter represents industry bodies, the owners and operators of licensed premises, Councils and others associated with the Hospitality and Development industries.

Peter appears in the Licensing Authority, the Licensing Court of South Australia and the Environment, Resources and Development Court on a regular basis. He has been associated with a number of celebrated appeals to the Full Court of the Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia.

Peter assists in the teaching of the Environmental Law component conducted by the Law Society for graduate lawyers entering legal practice. Peter also presents papers for the Law Society Continuing Professional Development Programme on topics such as Liquor Licensing and Gambling.

Peter benefits from a lifetime association with the Hospitality and Development industries having lived in, worked in and advised in relation to licensed premises for the whole of his life. As a result, he possesses a practical, innovative and commonsense approach to Hospitality and Development matters.
