Andrew has been involved in general commercial work, primarily the sale and purchase of businesses, since joining Wallmans from Minter Ellison in 2004. His practice includes supporting clients with the transition of employees, transfer of licences, leases and intellectual property, and negotiating finance documentation.

Recent work has included the multi-million dollar sale of a major hotel business, the dissolution of a multi-million dollar partnership and a complex case concerning the deed of settlement for railway access, which involved significant indemnity and GST issues.

Andrew has considerable experience in commercial property law, including all aspects of leasing and the sale and purchase of major buildings. He advises clients on issues such as stamp duty, taxation generally, restraints of trade, partnerships, and wills and estates.
