Since being admitted to practice in 2002, Brian Paris has provided advice and prepared agreements and documents in many areas of commercial law and property law, including retail leasing (for both landlord and tenant), sale and purchase of businesses, buildings and licences, and due diligence investigations.

Brian also has expertise in drafting wills (both simple and complex) and provides advice regarding the administration of deceased estates.

He has acted for several large financiers, public companies, shopping centre and hotel owners, medical practitioners and accountancy firms, and also has represented several leading interstate law firms.

Recent work has included:

• Acting for Boar’s Rock in the purchase of the Waikerie Winery from Southcorp Wines.
• Assisting with the sale of mortgagee land worth more than $9 million on Kangaroo Island.
• Preparing lease documents for the Elizabeth Shopping Centre and the Grenfell Centre.
• Sale of an abrasive products business worth more than $2M.
