Since being admitted to practice in 2002, Brian Paris has provided advice and prepared agreements and documents in many areas of commercial law and property law, including retail leasing (for both landlord and tenant), sale and purchase of businesses, buildings and licences, and due diligence investigations.

He has acted for several large financiers, public companies, shopping centre and hotel owners, medical practitioners and accountancy firms, and also has represented several leading interstate law firms.

Recent work has included:

• Due diligence and acquisition of several well known coffee brand businesses and related franchises.
• Due diligence and acquisition of an iconic South Australian bakery business.
• Preparation of international distribution agreements relating to the wine industry.
• Preparation of international Intellectual Property rights, supply, service and distribution agreements for a significant international range of toy and stationary products.

Brian also has significant expertise in drafting wills (both simple and complex) and provides advice regarding the administration of deceased estates.
