Peter is a Commercial and Property practitioner advising in the firm's leading Local Government practice, advising Councils and government entities in all aspects of commercial, infrastructure and property law.

Peter's broad commercial and property practice involves the provision of strategic advice on contracting and contract management, asset management, due diligence investigations, development and infrastructure, probity, acquisitions and disposals, leasing, occupation agreements and land services. 

Peter has extensive experience specialising in procurement and infrastructure projects in the government sector having lead the Commonwealth Government's commercial and property practice in South Australia for over three years, working on notable projects such as the RAAF Edinburgh redevelopment and Hypersonic (HI-FIRE) Projects. 

Having previously worked for both private and public entities, including investors, developers and various government entities, he is well placed in appreciating the unique complexities and stakeholder issues facing Councils and other public authorities. 

Peter was admitted to practice in 2000 after completing a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Adelaide. Peter worked for seven years  at a mid-tier Adelaide law firm specialising in commercial litigation, property and banking and finance assisting a number of significant South Australian organisations,  before joining  the Australian Government Solicitor (AGS).  His broad expertise has seen him practice across a wide variety of industries including Telecommunications, Government, Utilities, Defence, Banking and Finance and Real Estate.  Peter is currently an active member of the South Australian Law Society Property Committee.
