Victoria is a specialist practitioner in Wallmans Lawyers Local Government Team with significant expertise in providing advice to councils on an extensive range of planning and environmental issues, including but not limited to, development assessment processes and procedures, CDAP practices and procedures, development compliance including orders and notices, civil proceedings and criminal prosecutions, Building Rules and building safety concerns, land management agreements, site and groundwater contamination, waste, native vegetation and natural resources management issues.

Victoria regularly represents councils in planning appeals, reviews, enforcement proceedings and prosecutions under the Development Act 1993 and other relevant legislation. Additionally, Victoria provides advice on risk management, governance and policy issues, and has experience in conducting various other litigious matters, including judicial reviews, merits appeals and restraining orders in the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts.

Further, Victoria frequently delivers presentations and educational seminars on planning, environment and related local government issues and is recognised within the industry as a high-quality presenter and educator.

Victoria's industry experience is broad. Prior to joining Wallmans Lawyers in 2008 she practiced in a specialist development and environment legal firm. She has also worked as a Judicial Associate in the Environment, Resources and Development Court.

She holds an honours degree in Laws and Legal Practice, a Bachelor of Arts, and speaks Mandarin.
